Updated: October 8, 2026

NuHQ LLC (together with its subsidiaries, “NuHQ,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information in connection with our website at www.NuHQ.com (the “Website”) and our software applications and services, including NuHQ Knowledge, NuHQ Products, NuHQ Connect and NuHQ Work (collectively, the “Software”).

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that NuHQ processes for its own purposes. When NuHQ processes personal information contained in customer content on behalf of a business or other organization using the Software, that customer generally determines the purposes and means of the processing and NuHQ acts as its service provider or processor. In those circumstances, the customer’s privacy notice and our agreement with that customer govern the processing of customer content.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including when you contact us, request information or a demonstration, communicate with us about the Software, create or use an account, or otherwise interact with NuHQ. Depending on the interaction, this information may include your name, business email address, telephone number, employer, job title, account credentials, communications with us, and other information you choose to provide.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website or use the Software, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information about your device and activity, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages or features viewed, dates and times of access, and similar usage information. We may collect this information through cookies and similar technologies.

Customer Content

The Software enables our customers and their authorized users to submit, store, transmit, organize, search, analyze, and otherwise process business information and content. Depending on how a customer uses the Software, customer content may include documents, files, messages, communications, meeting or collaboration content, product and business information, and other data selected by the customer or its users. Customer content may contain personal information relating to the customer’s employees, contractors, customers, business partners, or other individuals.

Our customers determine what customer content is submitted to the Software. NuHQ processes customer content on behalf of our customers in accordance with our agreements with them and their instructions, except where otherwise required by law.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information that we process for our own purposes to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website and Software;
  • respond to inquiries, provide demonstrations, communicate with customers and prospective customers, and provide customer support;
  • create and administer accounts and authenticate users;
  • understand how the Website and Software are used, diagnose technical issues, and improve performance and functionality;
  • develop and improve our products and services, subject to our contractual commitments concerning customer content;
  • send service-related communications and, where permitted by law, information about NuHQ products and services;
  • protect against fraud, abuse, security threats, and other harmful or unlawful activity;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements and policies; and
  • carry out other purposes disclosed to you at the time information is collected or with your consent.

3. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Features

Our Software may include artificial intelligence, machine learning, search, summarization, generation, analysis, or other automated features. When a customer or user uses these features, information submitted to the Software may be processed as necessary to provide the requested functionality.

NuHQ may use third-party technology and infrastructure providers to support AI-enabled functionality. Such providers may process customer content only as permitted by NuHQ’s agreements with them and our applicable customer agreements.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed with a customer, NuHQ does not permit third-party AI model providers to use customer content submitted through the Software to train their general-purpose models. NuHQ’s use of customer content for product improvement, model training, or similar purposes, if any, will be governed by the applicable customer agreement and any related data processing terms.

4. Google User Data and Third-Party Integrations

The Software may allow customers and authorized users to connect their accounts with Google services and other third-party services. If you authorize a connection with Google, NuHQ may access, receive, use, and store information from your Google account as permitted by the permissions you grant and as necessary to provide the features you or your organization have enabled. Depending on the applicable NuHQ product, features, and permissions, this information may include Google account information and content from Google Workspace services.

NuHQ uses Google user data only to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the functionality requested by the applicable customer or authorized user, including to search, organize, analyze, summarize, retrieve, or otherwise process information through the Software. Google user data may be processed by NuHQ’s service providers and subprocessors only as necessary to provide the Software and subject to appropriate contractual restrictions.

NuHQ does not sell Google user data. NuHQ’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is retained in accordance with the applicable customer agreement, customer instructions, the functionality of the Software, and NuHQ’s data retention and deletion practices. Customers and authorized users may disconnect applicable Google integrations or request deletion of applicable data as provided through the Software or by contacting NuHQ.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

Service providers and subprocessors.

We may disclose information to vendors that provide hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, security, communications, customer support, AI functionality, and other services on our behalf. These providers are authorized to process information only as necessary to provide services to NuHQ and subject to applicable contractual restrictions.

Customers and authorized users.

Information associated with an account or customer workspace may be available to the applicable customer and other authorized users in accordance with the functionality and permissions of the Software.

Business transactions.

We may disclose information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where applicable.

Legal and safety purposes.

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of NuHQ, our customers, users, or others.

With your direction or consent.

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.

NuHQ does not sell personal information for money. If our practices constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted advertising under an applicable U.S. state privacy law, we will provide the rights and disclosures required by that law.

Text messaging. If you opt in to receive text messages (SMS) from NuHQ, your mobile phone number and your text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, sold, rented, or transferred to any third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose this information only to the messaging platform providers and telecommunications carriers that deliver text messages on our behalf, and only as necessary to deliver those messages.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, remember preferences, understand Website usage, improve our Website and Software, and support security. We may also use third-party analytics providers, including Google Analytics, after you opt in to analytics cookies. Google Analytics receives public page views and browser/device information to help us understand site usage. We do not send form values, names, email addresses, or URL query strings and fragments in our pageview events. Google advertising features are disabled.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through any cookie or privacy controls provided on the Website. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time using Cookie preferences. This stops future measurement and clears applicable browser identifiers; it does not automatically delete information already received by Google. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy. Necessary storage, including your pricing estimate, is not affected by declining analytics.

Some privacy laws recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), for certain opt-out rights. Where NuHQ is legally required to recognize such a signal and the signal applies to our processing activities, we will process it in accordance with applicable law. Legacy “Do Not Track” signals that do not constitute a legally recognized opt-out preference signal may not be recognized.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Website and Software, comply with our contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our legitimate business interests. The applicable retention period depends on factors such as the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which it is processed, contractual requirements, and applicable law.

Customer content is retained and deleted in accordance with the applicable customer agreement, customer instructions, and NuHQ’s data retention and deletion practices.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

NuHQ and its service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable law requires a lawful mechanism for transferring personal information across borders, including transfers subject to the European Union or United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism and take other measures required by applicable law.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access to or a copy of your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, portability, and information about how personal information is used or disclosed. You may also have rights to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, or to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

To exercise a privacy right relating to personal information NuHQ processes for its own purposes, contact us at legal@NuHQ.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf.

If your request concerns personal information contained in customer content that NuHQ processes on behalf of one of our customers, please contact that customer directly. You may also contact us, and we will refer or assist with the request as appropriate under our agreement with the customer and applicable law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law. If applicable law provides a right to appeal our decision regarding a privacy request, you may submit an appeal by emailing legal@NuHQ.com and identifying the request you wish to appeal.

11. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable comprehensive state privacy laws. These rights vary by state but may include the rights described above, as well as the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”). Subject to the CCPA’s applicability and exceptions, these may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information regarding categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and categories of recipients, as well as rights concerning sale, sharing, and certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.

For personal information that NuHQ processes for its own purposes, the categories we may collect include identifiers and contact information; commercial and business relationship information; Internet or other electronic network activity; approximate geolocation derived from IP address; professional or employment- related information; account and authentication information; and inferences derived from interactions with the Website or Software. We use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. All of the above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers of the text-message services that deliver messages on our behalf.

NuHQ does not sell personal information for money. To the extent NuHQ engages in activity that constitutes “selling,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under an applicable state privacy law, eligible individuals may opt out by contacting legal@NuHQ.com or by using an applicable privacy choice mechanism made available on the Website. Where required, we also honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC.

Certain state privacy laws do not apply to personal information NuHQ processes solely as a processor or service provider on behalf of a business customer. Our obligations regarding that information are governed by our customer agreements and applicable law.

12. Legal Bases for Processing in the EEA and UK

If the European Union or United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation applies to NuHQ’s processing of your personal information as a controller, we process personal information where we have an appropriate legal basis. Depending on the circumstances, those bases may include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Where applicable, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

13. Marketing Communications and Text Messages

We may send you information about NuHQ products and services where permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those communications or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from sending transactional, security, administrative, or other non-marketing communications.

Text messages. Where you opt in, NuHQ may send you text messages such as sign-in or verification codes and account or activity alerts. Text-message programs are optional and are not a condition of using the Website or Software. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of any program at any time by replying STOP to a message from that program, by changing your settings in the Software, or by contacting us at support@nuhq.com. Our SMS Terms & Conditions at nuhq.com/sms-terms describe each program, message frequency, and how to get help. NuHQ does not send marketing text messages unless you have separately and expressly opted in to a marketing text-message program.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Website and Software are intended for business and professional use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in a manner covered by this Privacy Policy, please contact us.

15. Third-Party Links

The Website or Software may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. NuHQ does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy notices.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
